There are 75 years of homeowners “fixing” little things all over the house. The attic stairs are a jumbled mess that don’t make any sense. Cedar shakes lined a few walls. Random shelves. Lime green, orange and purple paint on a few spots. Boards ripped off. Ducting stuffed in the wall, but not connected.
Stephen thought he could install one thing, and then ended up fixing everything leading up to that. This little air vent took him a whole afternoon.
Two walls and the chimney will get drywalled this week. We will figure out what to do with the shelves and missing flooring later.
I think I like the lime green chimney. Adds character. =)
