The fauna

From what the neighbors tell us, the previous owners worked in their yard a lot. It will be fun to see what pops up throughout the year. Here’s what is on display now. This Bleeding Heart grew 2 feet and bloomed in one week!

I thought this was a rose bush before it bloomed. Now I’m left guessing. Raspberry? What do you think?

And these guys are a spring staple in the Northwest, but I don’t know what to call them. Wood hyacinths?

  1. You mean flora. BUT NICE TRY.

(Yes I will critique you as Solomon.)

  2. The last one is a Grape Hyacinth. At least that is what it was called when I ordered it years ago for my yard. I love the Bleeding Heart!
